OBJECTIVES

To discuss strategies, convergent actions, showcase innovative models and road ahead to take forward the process of LSDGs particularly focus on 'Theme 1: 'Poverty Free and Enhanced Livelihood Gram Panchayat'. A Field visit to Panchayats will also be organized for the particiapnats.
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR), Government of India has been organising a series of conferences on Localization of Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) based on the nine themes to be saturated by the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).
The effective and impactful implementation of LSDGs can occur only when the concept and its process are properly understood, imbibed and implemented by the three tier panchayats. Kerala has been selected to host one of these conferences. The theme for the Kerala conference is Poverty free and Enhanced Livelihood Gram Panchayat. The conference is to be held from 14th to 16th November 2022. The venue for the conference is CIAL Convention Centre, Kochi, Kerala.
